Ukraine Live Aid

Edgar Simões is a citizen developer who was inspired to help Ukrainian refugees resettling in Portugal. While there were donation centers across the country, there was no central database for people to find the locations nearest to them. Despite not having a technical background, Edgar used Microsoft’s Power Platform, including Power Pages, to build Ukraine Live Aid, a website with an interactive map showing donation sites around the country.
